Ten years ago, my wife and I traveled to Italy, and in a charming vineyard, we found a special bottle of wine. We shipped it home, full of excitement, thinking we’d open it for an unforgettable occasion. Life got busy, and the bottle sat untouched, slowly gathering dust as the years slipped by. Then, on my birthday—nearly a decade later—we finally uncorked it and enjoyed with friends. Yes, the wine was great but the real problem here is that it took ten years for us to enjoy it.
As humans we always save things until there is a grand celebration. But the dark reality is, what if that grand celebration never comes. Life is a celebration. Open that bottle of wine “just because” and it will serve as a reminder to celebrate each day accordingly!
